Reminder
Masters 2016 :
This event will take every 2 years starting in 2016. It will be held during a World Championship Series and will replace a National team event.
This new single competition will see the best players compete according to the ITSF & Confederation ranking as well as winners of major ITSF World tour tournaments. In fact, qualified players for this competition will be:
a. Men (16 players)
- Top 3 World Championships 2015
- Winners of World Championship Series 2015
- Top 1 of each confederation Ranking
- Top ITSF Ranking players up to a maximum of 16 players in Total
b. Women (12 players)
- Top 1 World Championships 2015
- Winners of World Championship Series 2015
- Top 1 of each confederation Ranking
- Top ITSF Ranking players up to a maximum of 12 players in Total
World Championships 2017 qualification:
Since the World Cup and World Championships event will be organized every 2 years, please find below the qualification process for 2017 edition:
Dear Foosfans,
Following the creation of the Inter-Continental cup that will be held in 2016 for the 1st edition, ITSF would like to ask for your contribution to find the perfect name of this brand new competition! In fact, this event will mark the occasion to celebrate the whole community of foosball gathering the best squad and players from each continent.
Each confederation (Asia, Europe, North America and South America) will send a squad of its best players in men and women categories. Those players will represent their respective continent and compete against each other’s to reach the continental champions title !
As a result, we would like to launch a contest to find the Name of this competition. We invite you to send us your proposition either via Facebook or by email to Info@tablesoccer.org. Deadline is January 30th 2015. Winner and name of the competition will be announced shortly after the deadline. (Winner of the contest will receive a reward from ITSF)

This is a brand new competition which will see international players representing their respective confederation. This is a team event where all categories will fight together for the best confederation title.
Each confederations sport commission will decide how they select the team. The 1st edition will be held in 2016 and the format will be as follow:
- 8 men and 4 women
- 6 men doubles & 3 women doubles
- 4 men singles & 2 women singles
Each player/team can choose the table and they will fight for a total of 30 games (Penalty if tie – 15/15)

We are pleased to announce you the creation of the Award Commission. We have created an official page which is available HERE.
The Mission of the Award Commission is to recognize the personalities of the sport of table soccer that have stood out most during the ITSF season in various categories or have contributed immensely to the sport of table soccer.
The first ITSF Award ceremony will be held during the 2015 ITSF World Cup on Wednesday April, 8th 2015. Check out the list of award and nomination rules HERE

Last but not least, we would like to remind you that 2015 ITSF World Tour will start on January 1st 2015 and ends on December 31st 2015. The new ranking system will take effect on the first day of the starting season : January 1st 2015 : Only the 7 best singles and the 7 best doubles results of the 2015 season and for each player will count for their rankings.

During each World Championship Series, we will now have a Multitable event !
It could be a National Team World Cup Series, European Champions League, ITSF Masters or Inter-Continental Cup.
As a result, no more national team tournament on one table will be played. We think it is now a good time for players over the world to discover different style of games and champions. It will help the Nation ranking to be more accurate and allow federation to build strong multitable national team. Moreover, this new format will help to have more exiting matches as well as prepare nations for World Cup events that will take place only every 2 years from now.
This competition will be longer than actual team competition, but we will have only few modification in WCS timing. Each WCS may have some little difference depending on format they use. More information in each WCS information package will come soon.
Please note that the first Multitable events will be played in Beauvais (France) during the Bonzini WCS (May 8-10 2015) and it will be a national team event under this new format (World Cup Warm up). The second one will be the European Champions League to be played in Vienna (Austria) during the Garlando WCS (July-10-12). In consequence, we will not have a national team event in Austria.
We are pleased to release the palmares page of ITSF World Cup and World Championships editions since 2005 until now.
In this new page available HERE, you will be able to see all winners in each categories. You will be able to download the posters of the winners as well as poster for each edition.
Moreover, ITSF will reward the Nation which will have the more gold medals in each edition. In fact, this is a brand new trophy that will award the best nations results according to the total number of medals earned during the edition. The ranking is sort by the number of gold medals, earned during each World Cup edition. The number of silver medals is taken into consideration next and then the number of bronze medals. If, after the above, countries are still tied, equal ranking is given and they are listed alphabetically.

World championships and World Cup events will take place every 2 years starting by 2015 edition and we want to make the qualification system as simple as possible for the next edition in 2017.
As a result, we made some modifications in the conditions to qualify to the World Championships 2017.

Qualification through National Federation (Page 2) : Depending on the status of each ITSF members (Associate or Regular), please note that each federation will have the choice to decide how many qualification places they give each year (2015 and/or 2016) and under which rules. So, we kindly invite each federation to publish their qualifying rules to your respective players as soon as possible.

El mundo del futbolín en general, y los aficionados argentinos en particular, están de enhorabuena, puesto que la Federación Argentina de Fútbol de Mesa ha sido aceptada como nuevo miembro en la Confederación Argentina de Deportes (C.A.D.).
La Federación Argentina de Futbolín, de manos de su presidente Rafael Colaso, quien está trabajando duro para fomentar el futbolín en su zona, había solicitado su admisión a la C.A.D. desde hacía tiempo. Finalmente, la afiliación se ha hecho efectiva el pasado 22 de diciembre.
La Confederación Argentina de Deportes es una entidad de la República Argentina que aglutina a todos los deportes en general, olímpicos y no olímpicos. Además, incluye a todos los sectores que lo practican en sus diversos ámbitos, tales como, el universitario, discapacitados, trasplantados, el ámbito laboral y las escuelas deportivas. Tambien ha conseguido el apoyo del COPAR Comite Paralimpico Argentino a travez de una nota. De esta forma, el futbolín en Argentina da un paso adelante en su objetivo de expandirse y llegar a todos los aficionados.

The world of foosball in general and Argentinian fans in particular are pleased to let you know that the Argentina Foosball Association Board has been accepted as a new member of the Argentina Confederation of Sports ( CAD ) .
The Argentina Federation of table soccer, from the hands of its president Rafael Colaso , who is working hard to promote foosball in South America, had applied for admission to the CAD for some time. Finally, membership became effective on 22 December.
The Argentina Confederation of Sports is an asscoiation of Argentina that brings together all sports in general , Olympic and non-Olympic . It also includes all sectors who practice in their various fields, such as the university , disabled, workplace and sports schools. Their website ishttp://www.cad.org.ar/
Thus, with also the support of the Argentine Paralympic Committee (COPAR), table soccer in Argentina moves forward in its goal to expand and reach all the fans.
